Backyard S'mores {Alaina Nunez - Life Photographer}

My husband had a week off from work, so to start the week of Daddy Time off right we made some s'mores in our backyard.  So of course I strapped the baby into the ergo and grabbed my camera!

Woo Hoo the marshmallows are toasting!

Ok so they weren't really s'mores because we didn't have any chocolate or graham crackers but everyone was excited to toast their own marshmallow.

And they were excited to have seconds. :)

Sunshine after the Rain {Alaina Nunez- Life Photographer}

Toward the end of this day the rain subsided, so I grabbed my camera and the kids bundled up and we went outside for the last bit of sunshine from the day.

I love how clean and new everything feels after the rain. So much like the storms and trials of life. We appreciate how life looks once the storm is over.

I hope you're having a wonderful Wednesday!

Asher's 1 Year Cake Smash Session {Alaina Nunez - child photography}

Do you remember this little face?

Little Asher was such a sweet newborn guy! For his newborn session he was awake and wanting to look around but toward the end of his session he finally gave up and slept like a little angel.

Just the other week I was able to take his 1 year cake smash pictures. It was so nice to see him and his mama Lacey! He is such a friendly little guy who crawled right over to me and wanted me to pick him up. That was a special treat! He totally made my day. :)

Asher's 1st birthday theme was Monsters so Lacey made some cute banners which we hung in their yard. She also made an awesome little cake!
Here is how it all went down. ;)

Such a fun time!

I hope you enjoyed these as much as I enjoyed taking them!
